Tax Basics for Creative Entrepreneurs at Bowling Green

November, 2016
Bowling Green State University

Elaine is excited to visit Bowling Green State University on November 16 for a guest lecture and workshop on helping demystify tax basics for creative students as they prepare to launch creative careers.

During the session for BGSU students, Elaine will outline the fundamentals of “how incomes taxes work” and key financial strategies necessary to successfully managing self-employment taxes and common deductible expenses for creative entrepreneurs in the early stages of their careers.

Elaine will cover W-2 and 1099 income forms as well as Schedule C, the tax form self-employed creatives use to report their business income and deductions. But like all the workshops Elaine leads, this workshop isn’t just talking: Students are asked to bring their real-life examples, real-life questions, and willingness to roll up their proverbial sleeves to dig into tax basics.

Psst… Rumor has it there will be bonus content on pricing. Enjoy!
