Join Elaine Grogan Luttrull on Monday, April 11 for Pricing Your Work at Wild Goose Creative. This workshop is part of the wildly successful Business of Art workshop series at Wild Goose, and as part of our conversation, we’ll focus on pricing strategies and negotiation techniques for visual artists.

Description

As artists become more entrepreneurial in crafting portfolio careers, discussions about pricing become more common. However, many creative entrepreneurs lack the basic vocabulary and economic understanding to participate in those conversations comfortably.

Four factors—cost, competition, customers, and competencies—affect the price for an entrepreneurial artist’s work or time. This workshop will outline the science behind each factor and develop pricing strategies to complement each artist’s own practice.  We my may even practice negotiating…

By addressing each factor relevantly in a hands-on context as part of the workshop, participants will leave armed with financial empowerment and the confidence to carry that empowerment back to their studios, workshops, writing groups, theatre houses, and board rooms.

Please join the conversation. Networking begins at 6:30 p.m. and the workshop and activity will follow.
