Guess what each and every rising high school artist wants to learn about? Hint: It has something to do with art, but it actually rhymes with schmizness. (Say it out loud: Business. Business!)

This year, CCAD has incorporated a business of art component into its College Preview program in keeping with the increasing focus on building relevant entrepreneurial skills in the next generation of artists, and Elaine is leading it.

Whether students come to explore the Power of Design, Art as Entertainment, or Studio Arts, they’ll learn a bit about pricing strategies, portfolio careers, professionalism, and budgeting as part of their introduction to CCAD.
