Part of an ongoing presentation series on financial topics relevant to artists presented in conjunction with the Rosewood Arts Centre in the City of Kettering, Ohio, this session focuses on tax basics for both hobbyists and professional artists.

In this tax section, participants will review key aspects of tax law that are relevant to artists. The session will cover pertinent tax deductions, sales tax issues, and record-keeping practices to keep artists in good graces with their CPAs. It will also highlight changes in tax law that may affect artists and freelancers in particular.
